The First Tee Junior Golf Lessons
Changing the lives of Salina youth by emphasizing education and character development through the game of golf! Youth of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities will opportunities this year thanks to The First Tee of Salina. Instruction, Life Skills, and play on the unique short course at The First Tee of Salina are featured in all sessions.
The First Tee Target Level
Boys and Girls ages 4-6 begin to learn golf in a fun setting. This creative program will feature safety, etiquette, life skills and swing instruction. Each class will consist of four one-hour sessions. All equipment will be provided or students can bring their own. Class times are 8:30, 9:30, and 10:30 each week. Cost is $20.00 per child.

The First Tee PLAYer Level
NEW SESSIONS THIS YEAR – The First Tee Home Office has updated the curriculum nationwide and The First Tee of Salina is following. All students will begin their journey through The First Tee at our new PLAYer Level. Upon graduation - participants will be able to participate in the Par, Birdie, and Eagle Levels as they get older. Studies have shown that PLAYers learn the game of golf faster, enjoy it more, and participate longer. Our Chapter will mix life skills and golf skills in a fun format. Each student will receive golf instruction, supervised play and practice, and 10 free rounds of golf on the Short Course. Equipment is provided at no charge, if needed. The cost is $20 per child per session and includes our popular "The First Tee 2010" t-shirt. Students will meet 3 times a week for each two session.
SESSION #1 Two weeks beginning May 25 and ending June 3
Ages 7-9 - Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday - 8-9:30am
Ages 9-11 - Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday - 9:45-11:15am
Ages 11-14 - Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday - 11:30am-1:00pm
SESSION #2 - Two weeks beginning June 7 and ending June 18
Ages 7-9 - Monday, Wednesday, and Friday - 8-9:30am
Ages 9-11 - Monday, Wednesday, and Friday - 9:45-11:15am
Ages 11-14 - Monday, Wednesday, and Friday - 11:30am-1:00pm
SESSION #3 - Two weeks beginning June 22 and ending July 2
Ages 7-9 - Monday, Wednesday, and Friday - 8-9:30am
Ages 9-11 - Monday, Wednesday, and Friday - 9:45-11:15am
Ages 11-14 - Monday, Wednesday, and Friday - 11:30am-1:00pm
SESSION #4 - Two weeks beginning July 12 and ending July 23

Ages 11-14 - Monday, Wednesday, and Friday - 11:45am-1:00pm (This class may be merged with the 9:45 class due to the heat)
